Join Bergen County Camera and Olympus Visionary Photographer, Frank T. Smith, for a photo walk on the iconic NYC High Line. This Park, a designed re-use of abandoned rail trail was completed in phases and officially opened in 2014. Along the 1.45 mile elevated fright rail line transformed into a public park on Manhattan’s West Side you will have great photographic opportunities of the city, the people and the Hudson River. As our guide for the walk, Frank will help you see the un-obvious and share with you how to look beyond what others see. He will share with you techniques and encouragement to experience the High Line from a unique and captivating view.

A pre-trip lecture will be held in our Westwood store on Thursday, May 31st from 6:30-7:30pm. The pre-trip lecture will cover urban landscape photography, what you should expect, what to bring, and how to get the best shots!

Bergen County Camera will open a half hour before our 7:15 am bus departure for coffee, bagels, and any last minute photography needs. Olympus will have some cameras available to try out on this trip. If you are interested in borrowing one of their cameras please arrive early.

The bus should be returning to Bergen County Camera around 1:00pm. Tickets are $75.00 each and include a pre-trip lecture, bagels, coffee and snacks, bus transportation, a free 11x14 print and a follow up review session. 

*Please note that we will not break for lunch on this trip. The bus will depart at 12:30pm and we will have plenty of snacks for the ride home.
