To Bergen County Camera Staff And All New BCC Prospects:
I would like to write this letter with admiration and gratitude for Bergen County Camera (BCC).
I purchased my first camera from BCC 15 years ago (Nikon F2 used). In 1991, I was looking for
a solid Nikon body that would sustain my hobby at the time. The BCC staff spent time with me
explaining my options, while not pressuring me for a sale. I ended up choosing this camera as it
was the best choice for me at this time. It became evident to me after my education at BCC
which camera to choose. Years have past since my original purchase and my Nikon F2 still
works and I plan at some point passing this camera down to my son.
About two years ago I decided it was time to move from film to digital. The service and education I received was incredible. Rob Passman spent countless hours with me in person and allowed me to take my time through each step and question I had. In conjunction with this his excellent education, Rob explained that I should not be impatient and should consider each and
every option before proceeding with any purchase. After an extremely thorough review of
products, I choose the Canon 10d. In general the common feeling one receives when parting with
a large sum of money for a camera system is often guilt, possible buyer’s remorse. After I left the
store and now years after, the only feeling I possessed was comfort. At any point with my
camera, even months and over a year after, if I required service, BCC told me just to bring the
body in (cleanings etc). BCC provided exceptional service and support during this process from
handling the shipping, following up with Canon service and overall feedback to me to set my
expectations. This quality of service is priceless and cannot be obtained elsewhere.
After several months and years, I have built up a camera system, consisting of various lenses,
flashes and accessories, all purchased through BCC. Most recently I upgraded my camera system
to the 5d and have never been happier. There is no other camera store out there that can match
the superior class of service and education you receive at BCC, not to mention the convenience of
having a local store nearby.
Additionally I would like to mention that the BCC staff is receptive to learn your personality. I
cannot count how many times Rob, Bob and other BCC staff have been proactive to call or tell
me in person about new technologies or news that may be of interest to me. I couldn’t understand
their methodology here. It soon became apparent the BCC style. Once you purchase hardware
from BCC you are family. BCC not only takes the time to education you and offer splendid
service, but also learn your personality, interests, likes and dislikes. Ultimately you obtain a
custom intimate relationship for you and you only. To all new prospects of BCC, look no further,
you have found your home. BCC is bare none, the best out there and I promise, you will be more
then happy with your decision in choosing BCC.
To all the staff at BCC, thank you. Just thank you for all that you have done for me over the
years. I look forward to the future and the maturity of our relationship.
