John’s photographic interest did not start until his late teens when he began following and photographing the local underground punk-rock music scene. From there, he went on to attend the Hallmark Institute of Photography in Turners Falls, MA. Upon graduating and earning a certificate with an emphasis on commercial photography, he briefly spent time as an assistant and digital imaging specialist at a local portrait studio. He hopes to some day return to school to study cinematography. John currently lives in Rockland County, NY.
