Classes - Scanning
Join BCC’s John Tworsky for a two hour class on scanning technique using Adobe Photoshop & Elements. This class is designed to provide the basic & intermediate level scanning of prints, slides and negatives. A basic understanding of Photoshop similar to what is taugh in our Basic Photoshop class is reccomended. Some topics to be covered include, determining a good & bad scans, split scans, moiré pattern reduction, dust & scratches, checking for a dirty scanner and how to clean a scanner, determining proper resolution and working with histograms. Of course there will be plenty of time for questions at the end of the presentation. The fee for this single evening course is $50 with a minimum $50 in coupons toward digital imaging services.
A basic working knowledge of Windows file management - File (Copy, Move, Delete, Rename) Directory (Create, Move, Rename) and a working knowledge of Basic Photoshop is suggested.
