Photo Trips - Longwood Gardens
Join Bergen County Camera on May 15, 2011 for a photo excursion to Longwood Gardens in Kennet Square, PA. Longwood Gardens is considered to be the World's premier horticultural display garden. The beautiful 1050 acre site features 20 outdoor gardens, 20 indoor gardens, spectacular fountains, and 11,000 different types of plants. Our trip is planned to coincide with the Spring Blooms display. BCC staff will be available to assist you with your photography throughout the day.
BCC will open for a half hour before the 7:00 am bus departure for coffee, bagels and any last minute photography needs. Tickets are $150 each or $250 for a pair and cover round trip bus transportation, admission, a short lecture on macro photography and lunch. Please note that tripods are only permitted indoors until noon. They may be used outside throughout the day. The bus will depart at 3:30 pm with a scheduled arrival of 6:00 pm back at the store.
We'll have some special offers and a photo contest for the best picture taken on the trip, with a $50 BCC gift card awarded to the winner. Hope to see you there.
Helpful Information:
We recommend wearing sturdy walking shoes.
Each Attendee will be given a cafe voucher that includes an appetizer, entree, dessert and fountain beverage or coffee.
No outside food or beverage is permitted (except water).
A tripod permission form must be filled out prior to our arrival for anoyone who wishes to use a tripod or monopod. BCC will provide you with this form the morning of the trip.
