Shoebox Scanning
What is shoebox scanning? Shoebox scanning is a low cost way to scan “boxes” of family photographs. This is done using a high speed scanner allowing for a very cost effective way to scan large batches of photographs.

What does it cost? Shoebox scanning at Bergen County Camera is sold in two sizes – small and large. The “Small box” is priced at $59.99 and lets you scan up to approximately 800 4x6 images with the “Large box” priced at $99.99 with approximately 1100 4x6 images possible.
What size prints can be scanned? Almost any size from 2” x 3” up to 8” x 12” can be scanned. Prints must be flat and not attched to any backing paper, cardboard or anything that significantly increases the prints thickness.
What about professional images? We are unable to scan any copyrighted material and will remove this from your project before scanning.
How can Shoebox scanning help with my family history project? Genealogists are often relieved that copies of family photographs can be made quickly and easily and along with a duplicate CD ($5) or DVD ($10) to share with other family members. The list of problems getting copies of family photos can be almost endless. With shoebox scanning once complete everyone can have a copy without ever having to give the originals away for copies to be made ever again.
Your images are safe and secure and never leave our Westwood location.
